So I was doing my rounds online when I saw this post: Shoppers on a ‘Diet’ Tame the Urge to Buy. It was pretty much a challenge to only wear SIX items of clothing (not including shoes, accessories, or underwear) for 31 days.
My reaction was: WHAAAAAAAAAT?!?! O____O
Six items of clothing might only last me a week or two which and even that's a stretch. But the more I thought about it, what a challenge will it be to your creativity to mix and match six items to last you a whole month with your kajillion shoes and accessories.
I love clothes too much. If I were to do the challenge, I'm not sure which ones will be my six items. Sure it might be easier for guys to do this since I hardly notice what guys wear, but girls check other girls out (don't lie). But imagine the payoff... more money in your pocket that can go to something else. And it does kinda help you put your shopping into perspective. How much of the clothes in your closet do you really wear? But then again, a hobby is a hobby.
QUESTION: Based on your lifestyle, is this challenge doable for you? Would you do the challenge? If so, what will be your six items? I'd like to hear your answers in the comment section.

CoverGirl LashBlast Volume (Review)
I'm sooooo happy that I finally got a new camera because it really does make a difference in the world how my pictures are turning out! It makes me want to blog even more because my pictures are not looking craptastic once I upload them into my computer. The next step for me would probably getting a new laptop. But for now, an upgraded RAM and external hard drive will have to do in the meantime.
With that said, my first product review using my spankin' new camera will be on the CoverGirl LashBlast Volume.

Product Review and Swatches: Urban Decay Apocalyptic (Nailpolish) Kit
When Hautelook had their Urban Decay sale a few months ago, I just know I had to check out and see what goodies they had in store. And besides, Urban Decay is probably one of my favorite makeupline, not just because of their super cute packaging and witty product names, but because of the awesome quality that you're getting when you buy their products.
First item I saw was this baby right here, Urban Decay's Apocalyptic Kit that has seven different shades of nail lacquer goodness. Getting the kit was probably the best way try their nailpolishes without being stuck with a full bottle of what you hate, yet having the variety of colors to play with!

IMATS 2010 (Pasadena, CA): A Makeup Haven
First of all, I'm glad to be back online! I'm finally hooked on the internet at home as my wireless modem came in today. I've been itching to blog for the past week since I have pictures galore and so many recent events happening lately. But with all the moving and stuff... I haven't really had the time or the internet to do much blog.
So on to business...
As majority of you already known, seen, and heard, three weekends ago was the International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) which was held in Pasadena. I'd like to thank Sara for inviting me to attend to the show and giving me the opportunity to cover the event. This year was actually my second time attending the IMATS, so I kinda sorta knew what to expect. But I think this year was definitely bigger than the previous one I have been to.
Last year, my main focus was pretty much doing as much "hauling" as I could, and meeting some of the beauty blogger babes as a meetup was setup prior to the event. This year, I tried to cover the event a little bit better and just become inspired back to makeup again after taking a long hiatus from it. I definitely saw awesome work from different talented artists during the show. It's so amazing how much an eyeshadow and lipstick can do, whether it be to transform someone or express your individuality and creativity.
Enough rambling, click on the jump for more pictures!
