This weekend went by too quickly and felt shorter than usual. The anticipated carmageddon didn't really happen. This whole time we were worried about the freeways being bumper to bumper and backed up for days. The exact opposite happened. I almost wish they'll close down freeways every weekend since there's almost no traffic anywhere. Commutes that usually take hours midday only took minutes on the freeway. If only LA freeways will be like that everyday, people would live happier lives.
As short as the weekend was, we actually indulged in some good eats, tried making some lobster mac and cheese, did two loads of laundry, and cleaned my place. At least I can say I was somewhat productive. Oh and did I mention that we discovered this awesome Filipino Restaurant in Chino Hills? The restaurant is called The Green Banana Leaf Restaurant, and I'd have to say that it's almost as good as my dad's cooking (read my review here).
By the way, can I just tell you how obessed... OBSESSED I am with my new watch? I was able to snag this beauty during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this weekend. LOVES IT.
