Happy Monday! The past weekend was the first weekend of Coachella, and I spent a great deal avoiding Instagram the whole weekend so the #FOMO (fear of missing out) feeling wouldn't be so bad. I just utilized my weekend by doing my own relaxing which involved plenty of couch time. And think about all that sleep and TV I caught up with (just to make myself feel better)!!! But, two weekends ago, I spent some time in Palm Desert for a mini vacay. We were able to take advantage of the surroundings and the perfect weather to film my Coachella Inspired Lookbook for my Youtube channel. This was the first look in the video that I might have worn if I went to Coachella this year.

Even though I have never been to Coachella, I've been to a few concerts and the desert. The most sensible way to dress up for the event is to be comfortable (while staying cute at the same time). You will be on your feet for the most part of the day. The weather will be mostly likely really hot. And Coachella is part grass and part dirt.

I love this floral top because it still channels that festival vibe look without being overly boho. Even though the top is a long sleeve, the material is pretty sheer and it also have the cut-out details for some ventilation while looking cute at the same time. I paired it with shorts for the obvious reasons that it will be hot. And I wore my (flat) ankle boots since I'll be most likely on my feet the whole day. Who wants blistered feet or rolled ankles on the first day anyway? So wear something comfortable. Besides, you'll need your feet to dance.
