Short Hair Don't Care

Due to the backlog of outfit pictures that I've had for quite some time, my short hair is just making it's first appearance on my blog. I've always thought that I would never cut my hair this short ever again ever since I made a promise to myself that I will never cut my hair this short back in 2008. And here I am in 2014, thinking about going even shorter. But I think I'll stick to this length for now.

I made the decision of going shorter on the eve of my birthday. I'd say that it was more of an impulse decision. I booked my hair cut appointment the same day and rushed to my stylist after work. I'll even say this was actually an accident because I wasn't expecting her to cut this much off my hair! But I ended up loving it in the end and thought that this was probably the change that I needed.

Wildest Dreams

Yesterday was basically Taylor Swift day with her new album release of 1989. I wasn't much a T Swift fan up until recently due to my friend, Crystal. If it wasn't Sam Smith we're listening to, it would be Taylor Swift (or Ed Sheeran). I've enjoyed her music before (listening to her on hits the radio), but I didn't really listen to her albums as a whole.

In preparation for the "We Can Survive" concert that we attended last Friday, I listened to every single album she had (thinking she was closing the show which ended up not happening), and found myself being able to relate to almost every single song. There's no denying that she's an amazing storyteller. Were we friends in the past life, Taylor? You basically laid out the emotions that I felt in your songs.

So yesterday during my lunch break, I picked up her new album, and it's been on repeat since then. As I've mentioned on Instagram, this album is the soundtrack of my life. Let's just say that I could dedicate each song to someone if I have to.

I've been wearing my Nike sneakers with practically everything lately. It's been my go-to shoes especially in the weekends since they're incredibly comfortable. It's surprising how these shoes basically goes with anything whether it be wearing a dress, shorts, jeans, or in this case, a leather skirt.

I've been listening to too much Taylor Swift (and Ariana Grande) as of late in preparation for the We Can Survive concert next Friday at the Hollywood Bowl. And for some reason, when I was editing these pictures, it just reminded me of T. Swift's song Red... which is kind of my jam right now.

Still have some backlog outfit pictures with my long hair, so it'll be awhile until my short hair makes an appearance on the blog. I have to admit that I start to miss my long hair when I see old pictures, but I was itching of a change. And my hair had to go.
