It's finally cold enough for me to wear my coats and jackets! Per usual, LA was tardy to the party, but better late than never. It was odd that just a week ago that we were still experiencing hot summer weather. Once Halloween was over, the temperature dipped down to 50's. It went from 90's to 50's... real quick.
Last night, I posted my Suede Babe Fall Lookbook on my Youtube channel (the video is also embedded below after the jump for your viewing pleasure). This is the first look from the lookbook video. I wore a similar look to my friend's, Heart, SK-II event in New York. Since it was a bit more nippy in the east coast, I opted for some knee high socks to keep the legs warm.
I recently bought this hooded parka specifically for my New York trip (you can watch my haul video). When I saw this jacket in store, I noticed that it's a bit heavier than my other jackets. I'm glad that I ended up getting this because it kept me warm in New York, and I feel that a girl can never have too many olive colored jackets :). I also like how this jacket has the hood which kept my head warm especially when it got a little windy. For reference, I'm 5'1, so this jacket hits me right by my knees. I've been looking for jackets that's a little bit longer, so this one was just perfect. Even though it's a bit longer in length, I don't feel like I'm swimming in it. The only drawback is that the drawstring on the bottom of the jacket can be a bit cumbersome if you don't tie the strings to make it shorter.
