Madewell chambray shirt / Faux leather paneled pants / Urban Outfitters cardigan / Zara boots (similar) / Karen Walker sunglasses / Zara faux fur bucket bag (similar)
I've noticed that most of my outfits has been either monochromatic or has some sort of denim element in it. I know that I'm getting a lot of wear out of my chambray shirt as of late. A chambray shirt is an awesome transitioning piece year round. It's a staple in everyone's closet just because you can really wear it any time of the year whether it's in the winter or spring. It's also so versatile that you can easily dress it up or down with pieces that you already own.
I've paired my chambray top with this faux paneled pants to give the outfit a bit of an attitude but toned it down a little with the loose-fitting boyfriend cardigan. The cardigan gives it a more relaxed look. Also, I thought that it'd be a cute and interesting accessories to use my faux fur bucket back (my bag is old, but this one is just as cute). It also adds a nice texture and contrast to the leather paneled pants. I'm obsessing over this camera bag that has a similar effect but different look to it.
Anyway, tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. Do any of you celebrate or wear green to participate? I recently found an olive green skirt in my closet that I forgot about. I'm going to share tomorrow how I styled it, so I hope you come back for that post.
