I can imagine wearing the boxy ruffled top to a Sunday brunch with some girlfriends. Outfit number two would be perfect for an afternoon stroll at your local farmer's market or simply running errands.
And if you're planning to go on a tropical vacation or will be cruising in a yacht somewhere, this halter stripe bikini is Instagram worthy against that blue ocean back drop (can also be worn as a crop top). The white dress shirt doubles up as a great cover-up or wear it as an evening outfit on the way to dinner by simply dressing it up with gold tassel earrings. I've already ordered the same suede slides (comes in 4 other colors), so I can wear it on my next beach trip. Ann Taylor has some great pieces with fun prints like this halter dress with palm leaves print. I'm also eyeing the adorable navy romper for an easy dress-up. The scarf print also comes in a t-shirt version if you really want to get in that tropical vibe.

I haven't been to Old Navy for quite some time now, so I dropped by the store this weekend to see what they have. They're having an amazing deal for basic pieces. I picked up this striped tee which has a relaxed fit and is uber soft, and this stripe t-shirt dress for lazy days when I just want to get dressed quickly. You can never have too many striped anything in your drawer. I'm actually going to go back and pick-up another v-neck shirt while they're on sale too. I also got two boyfriend shorts and a linen tie-draw shorts since it's slowly warming-up again and shorts are essentials in this Cali weather.
